Short Heath Playing Fields & Bleak Hill Park Two Wonderful Green Spaces
We aim to give families a place to be together and for a community to thrive
Short Heath Fields Trust (SHFT) successfully protected Short Heath Playing Fields from a planned housing development by Birmingham City Council, preserving this valuable green space for the community. Since then, the Trust has been dedicated to revitalising the area by reintroducing regular, free events for children and promoting local sports activities.
In addition, SHFT has proudly taken on the role of a “Friends of” group for both the Playing Fields and the neighbouring Bleak Hill Park, working to support, maintain, and enhance these green spaces for everyone to enjoy.
